Blocks, floors and rooms
A residence is not one list. Buildings, floors and rooms are first-class: rooms carry physical beds, contracted beds and the bed set-up, occupancy is counted per building, and searching a room number finds the people in it.
Roll call by block
Wardens filter to their own building at their own assembly point. Counts are per group, and the whole list merges across phones.
Take only what you need
The door can be the check-in. With the door switch on, a sign-in at the door records the day's check-in, so a residence that only works the door log and the roll call keeps an honest register without a second act.
Visitors and contractors
Signed in on arrival, out on departure, and included in the on-site count that the roll call uses.
Occupancy reporting
Occupancy over a range, vacancies as they stand, and room history showing who was in a room and when.
Common questions
Do we have to use the daily check-in?
Not as a separate act. The register cannot be switched off, but with the door switch on a sign-in at the door counts as the day's check-in, so a residence that only wants the door log and the roll call records nothing twice.
Can we run several blocks from one account?
Yes. Buildings, floors and rooms are built in. The roll call groups by building so a warden at one assembly point sees only their block, and occupancy and vacancy reporting work per building.
How do fire drills work?
One tap starts a drill; every warden's phone shows the same list and marks merge as people are found. The drill is kept as a record, marked as practice rather than a real evacuation, and prints for the fire file.
Is it suitable for under-18s?
Residents under the adult age you set are shown as not required for the daily check-in, and appear as children within their family group on the roll call.
