Who is in, who is out, who was seen today.

CheckSteady is a web app with two jobs: a daily check-in register, and a visitor, contractor and staff sign-in and sign-out log with a live count of who is on site and a fire roll call that counts everyone. It was built for accommodation centres in Ireland — IPAS centres, emergency and supported accommodation, hostels, student residences and residential care — where the day closes itself at local midnight and missed check-ins are recorded automatically. The visitor log suits any site with people coming and going. It is made by Tenzing Digital in Ireland.

Every resident is listed on screen when a staff member logs in. Typing a name filters the list, forgiving typos, missing accents and names in either order, and one tap — or one swipe on a tablet — records the check-in, timestamped and attributed to whoever recorded it. Where a centre allows it, adults can check themselves in at a self check-in tablet by the door, and those check-ins are marked as made at the tablet.

At local midnight — the site's own timezone, computed on the server — the day closes itself. Anyone who was required to check in and was not seen becomes a recorded miss, and the morning starts with a list of exactly who needs attention. Nothing depends on a staff member remembering to close the day, and a tablet with a wrong clock cannot shift what today means.

No. The rule is at least one check-in per calendar day, midnight to midnight in the site's own timezone. A resident seen at 09:00 on Monday and 10:00 on Tuesday attended on both days and is not marked late, as a rolling 24-hour clock would mark them.

Yes. One tap starts a practice drill or a real evacuation, and every warden's phone shows the same list within seconds. Residents who need help to evacuate are first on the list with the need beside the name. It works with no connection, merges the marks when the network returns, and keeps the record of who was marked safe and when.

Yes. On the Visitors tab, staff, visitors, contractors and suppliers are signed in on arrival with a name and an optional company, and signed out when they leave. Your own site staff list becomes one-tap buttons. Everyone still signed in is counted on site and appears on the fire roll call, and the visitor log for any date range downloads as a spreadsheet.

Yes. An office, a construction site, a school or a club can use it as a digital visitor book and contractor and staff sign-in log with a fire roll call: Visitors and Evacuation are on from the start, the rest can be turned off under Settings, and the resident register stays empty once the sample residents are removed. Pricing is per site, per month, whatever is switched on.

Not edited, no — nothing is changed in place. A wrong check-in or movement can be taken off the register by a staff member with a reason, and a missed one added at the time it happened, marked as entered by hand; the whole entry, who did it and why stay on the audit trail. Drills are append-only. Every entry carries who recorded it and when.

Yes. Check-ins and movements queue on the device and send themselves when the connection returns. The roll call marks people safe offline and merges the marks across phones afterwards.

Data is hosted in the EU, in Frankfurt, encrypted in transit and at rest, and each centre's records live in their own separate database schema. One click produces a resident's complete file for a subject access request, and departed residents can be erased on schedule, with the erasure itself logged.

Yes — a free seven-day trial of a single site with no card, which starts with sample residents to explore; you remove them from Admin when you are ready for your own list. When a trial ends the site becomes read-only rather than being deleted.
